Day 1 - Re-painting the tallest water standpipe in the world.

Yesterday, United Painting began work on what is rumored to be the tallest industrial water standpipe of it's kind. The Coeur D' Alene Industrial water Standpipe sits at right about 160' tall.

We will be pressure washing, priming with a Tnemec Series 118 Uni-bond Mastic Primer, and top coat will be Tnemec Series 1029 Endurothane. It is a water-borne system which is relatively new but promises better color retention over time, and ease of application via sprayer.

We will be painting the tank using a 36" wide, 15' long swing stage, connected to the painters ring at the top of the tank.
